As a regular user of public transportation in UAE, you might consider using a nol card to get extra discounts and offers. But what if your nol card has been overcharged rather than providing you any benefit? This can happen due to multiple reasons including system error which is commonly observed. Keep reading to know the ways to report this.

How to Report an Overcharge of nol Card Issue Online

To complain about the overcharge issue, follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the RTA website
  2. Click on the Public Transport tab
  3. Click on “Refund nol Card Balance” and then Apply Now
  4. Enter Your tag ID and mobile number
  5. Select the Overcharge Refund option in Refund Types
  6. Review provided details and Submit it
  7. It can take up to 3 to 7 days for approval

Note That:

  • You should apply for an overcharge refund within 5 days of travel
  • This is only applicable if an overcharge happened on Metro, Bus, or Tram
  • A valid nol card is required for an overcharge refund
